Red tagua/lapiz necklace
As an ancient symbol of royalty, lapis-lazuli has forged its reputation for thousands of years due to its magnificent shades of blue. It finds in vegetable ivory, sublimated with an imperial red varnish, a solid ally to accentuate its structure. Vegetable ivory takes its appearance from the polished seed of an equatorial tree called Tagua or “elephant palm”. The metal clasp gilded with fine 18k gold reinforces the flamboyant appearance of this imposing two-tone accessory.
